The EMBL Imaging Centre provides access to academic and industry users, supports their projects from sample preparation to image analysis with expert staff, and offers tailored training opportunities in the highest resolution EM and LM technologies, including academically developed methods not yet commercially available. Users do not require prior experience.
Every application will be carefully peer-reviewed and evaluated on its technical feasibility, scientific merit and quality by the EMBL IC team and our project evaluation committee.
Timelines: The proposal submission and review process aim to be efficient, transparent and quick, with an estimated turnover time of about 4-6 weeks.
Deadlines: Applications can be submitted by all researchers at any time.
Why INSTRUCT? The application system for the EMBL IC is being processed by Instruct-ERIC. All users are requested to register in Instruct’s booking system ARIA, the subsequent application and reviewing is however handled by the EMBL IC.
Notifications: Users will receive through ARIA automated emails on the status of the proposal submission and outcome of the review.
